"It is inspiring to see the determination and hard work of the young
Bolivian Quakers."
—Newton Garver
Dollars go a long way in Bolivia—10 or 20 times as far as in the US—except, unfortunately, when purchasing imported equipment. As fellowship with and services in support of Bolivian Friends expand, so do BQEF’s costs. Irene McHenry, Executive Director of the Friends Council on Education, says of this growth: "Your energy and vision have grown from small seeds of hope to young, strong saplings of joy."
We hope you are moved to help nurture these saplings of joy, so that more Bolivian Friends can gain the tools necessary for improving their lives and their country.
