Guisela Mendoza Limache

Guisela Mendoza Limache

Inspired by her mother's business, Guisela chose to study economics. She is now in her 4th year studying Economics at UMSA, where, she tells us, there was a bit of campus-wide confusion during registration due to a new director and new system. But Guisela got the courses she needed, and classes were eventually straightened out and got started only a bit late. Guisela's favorite subjects are Accounting and Political Economy, because they address topics of economic trends, business capital and balances. Her mother’s business inspired her to study economics.

Guisela works part-time at the FIE Bank, and is very satisfied with her work. She also participated in a project to support the women in the FIE Bank. In her free time Guisela listens to music, among other things.

Born in La Paz, Guisela lives in Alto San Antonio. She has three brothers, and is the oldest child. Her father is a teacher, and her mother is a seamstress who makes traditional skirts and a housewife. Guisela is a member of the Nueva Jerusalén church of INELA.

Her future goals include becoming independent, having a business, and helping people with their needs.

Guisela has had a BQEF scholarship since 2008. Her studies are sponsored by the West London Area Meeting.
